Well I've never been to heaven, but I've been to Oklahoma
You know who does not get the attention, respect and accolades they deserve? Three Dog Night. Seriously. Tell me that you don't totally dig this song. I've loved this song since I was a little kid.
"... say the ladies are insane there, and they sure know how to use it."
sing it with me, now.

Thanks for reminding me of that song. I had forgotten about it, which is a shame. Great song. Just don't call it Classic Rock, though. Classic rock was all written before I was born.

Will you hate me if I have never heard this song? Not sure how the hell it has escaped me, having been born in a town where this format was practically the only rock n roll on the radio until 1988. Thanks for sharing.

I typed the "Oklahoma" lyric into google to see who else was digging this song. Yours was the first link I clicked.
How about how his voice goes all chocolatey and molassesy when he sings "Well I've never been to Heaven" for the first time.
Trivia: Do you know how Three Dog Night got its name?
