Safe Mode? Not so safe, as it turns out.
Jodi: Well, Mr. Moon, I've done it. I've broken my my PC. All I did was try to start in safe mode. It is now well, and truly, fucked.
Mr. Moon: I'd like to be well, and truly, fucked, it sounds nice.
Jodi: Me too, but in computers?... not so sexy.

no, it was a pc. Windows. I have to use them sometimes at work, I have both at my desk.
