I have a cough medicine hangover.
I am back at work, but I'm not all that happy about it. It's one thing to be feeling pretty good while you are lying around watching crappy tv. It's not quite the same when you are at work. I was gifted this disease by Paco, at least that's what Evildeb says. And she's done a great deal of internet research to prove it to him, so who am I to argue? He is still out. He was out all last week. So I think I got off pretty easy, all things considered.
Anyway, I have lots of email to catch up on, so I leave you with this, Clerks 2 trailer.

I was so sick all last week. I have never been this sick in my entire life. I will be back tomorrow. I hope you are feeling better!!

I'm just not sure how I feel about a Clerks2. :-(

I think that Clerks 2 is more of the same witty customer-service based humor as Clerks had, just in a different tableau.
It isn't, however, the same edgy material it once was. Kevin Smith is falling back on a tried and true genre he knows how to direct. It's a bunt, if you will.

Glad you're feeling better...just don't relapse. Go home early :-)

I almost went to work today.
I woke up feeling OK, but nowhere great. I moved from bed to a recliner and went back to sleep for two hours.
I knew if I went to work I'd feel like crap and I'd have a stream of people coming in making demands on me ... one of whom I'm pretty sure is responsible for my current illness.
I opted to stay home, feel puny, and watch Hawk bitch slap Cardasians.
