Have you ever tried to vacuum curtains?
It's not easy. I'm not trying to vacuum the entire curtain, just the bottom foot or so, where all the cat hair is.
How does one clean curtains? No, seriously, how do you?

Depends on the curtains. Ye Olde Ikea cotton curtains: stick them in the washer.
My mom had some delicate type ones in the kitchen that she would hand wash - or tell me to hand wash. She also had another set of regular type curtains in the living room that were the bane of her existence. I think she sent them to the drycleaners... and then eventually switched up for those dreadful plastic things that look like ass but are easy to clean.
Curtains are overrated anyway - ditch em and make your life into an ongoing art display: Here I Am World, Here I Am.

I like the lint brush idea, unless it is more than just cat hair.

It sucks cleaning cat hair off curtains. I use a wet cloth. It makes the hair ball up and then I vacuum up all the clumps of fur. Or I just wash the whole curtain in the laundry. You can do that with my curtains. Some, not so much.
