Maybe I'm not evil. But I don't think I can be normal.
ack!! the punchiness is setting in! you know... the part where you get all hyper and you can't sit still and you can't shut up. the punchiness that comes with lack of sleep. i am going a million miles a minute, man. whooooooosh! ok.. i exaggerated. not a million miles. i'm not having a manic moment. but i am a little hyper. , dear internet friends. and because i am not receiving replies on my emails fast enough, and there are no new posts on the 'brain for me to respond to, and tony isn't here for me to shoot rubber bands it, and evildeb is at drawing class all day....i have to take it out on you.
after the punchiness comes the crash. i HATE the crash.

Oh man do I ever know what that's like! Except that when I don't get sleep I do get manic. Lack of sleep is the only thing that causes mania, in me, and it sucks, big time. I don't have a lot of experience with the crash, though, as when I get overtired, it gets to the point where it's almost impossible for me to go to sleep. I hate that.

I don't get manic so much as I get really giggly and dumb. Oh, no, wait. That's just me regularly. My bad.
Sorry I'm not around to play with. I don't have a computer at the job I'm working right now. And I think we may have established, at some time prior, that it is all about me.

no, no, no. it is all about ME. and I don't have a computer at work either. well, I have a computer. it just doesn't connect to the internet. well, I could probably figure out how to make it connect to the internet, but I would get in gobs of trouble.

i totally know the typical series of events that occur from lack of sleep. having gone through 5 years of college and having experienced many all-nighters of studying, i know the process well.
1) get sleepy just around midnight...give or take an hour
2) eat/drink something to recharge your system (my college fave was to stop in to the local Denny's)
3) work straight on through till about 4am
4) punchiness/gigglyness sets in around this time
5) at 6 or 7am the crash begins to hit
6) if you have a final exam (or work) to get to at 8am, you go on a desparate search for caffeine at this time
