Lord, I am rusty at this. It’s been a while. But here goes. You remember the rules? Play along if you like, 50 words – no more, no less. Must include the theme or topic in order to get the extra special chicken fried bonus points, with gravy and cheese on top.

He looked over at her, at her dopey smile, her fingers that caressed the smooth surface, her eyes wide with desire. His jealousy was embarrassing, but he couldn’t help it. He snatched the MacBook Pro away.
“Jeez… you love it so much, why don’t you just marry it!”
No passion. No lust. No desire. No neediness. No expectations. No demands. No manipulation. No agendas. No guilt.
After the last story. After the last tickle. After the last cuddle. After the last kiss. Those soft little voices as the light blinks out. Goodnight Daddy, I love you. Child Love.
the third pallbearer could no longer bear the weight and his hand slipped. i could relate, i could no longer hold my compassion for the woman in the casket. she had let me down too many times. many that were removed from my situation had told me that she intentionally depressed me because she needed the company. nevertheless, i never stopped loving you, mom – i was just tired of the disappointment.
She paced like an impatient tiger. Where was he? Had he stopped somewhere else first? Whose needs were more important than *hers*?
Finally, he knocked. Her insides flipped in anticipation. She open the door, threw him money, then yanked the pizza box out of his hands.
She was now complete.
She couldnít take a breath. She felt suffocated. She loved him but the fire was smothered out. She had to get away. She had to find who she was again. Not who she was with him, but who she was without him, because in the end, she is all alone.

“I miss mother”.
“I know, even though she gets mad at us when we visit grandpa’s special rock without telling her”.
“I wish she could come on these adventures with us, sheís smart, even if she is a grown up”.

Love is the word people use when they have a feeling inside them that’s too big for any other definition. When that feeling swells to the point that you want to grab the object of your affection and absorb them into yourself completely so you’re never without them, that’s love.
