There is a breeze outside. For a moment I was standing next to some bright pink and purple flowers in a parking lot. I don’t know what kind, peonies maybe? All the sudden, I was smack in the middle of springtime in Tulsa. Deja Vu weather. Happens to me all the time.
Now my window is open so I can feel the breeze inside, I’m listening to the soundtrack to Amélie and I feel like writing a story.
Springtime in Tulsa. That sounds like a romantic flick from the 50’s that never quite panned out.
So you have watery, itchy eyes from all of these allergies? Sudafed will clear up any Tulsa hangovers 😛
oh, no allergy attacks. it was just the way the sky looked, and the breeze felt, that made me feel that i was in tulsa in the springtime.
I think springtime in Tulsa is what makes living here worth it. There is nothing like that huge blue sky. 🙂
Jen, I used to think it was the Rex’s chicken that made it worth living in Tulsa, but I hear that’s gone. 🙂
Actually, spring time in Tulsa is LOVELY. And so is the availability of dr pepper everywhere. I might even go back to Tulsa next year, for my high school reunion.
You are one strange bird, but I like you all the same.
why thank you, grampa. right back at you!
