Hey kids… we continue our sin theme with sloth. My favorite. I’ll be away all day, so I look forward to your stories when I return. Please…. write me stories, I’ll need something happy by the time I get home.
Orientation
She met with Satan first.
“I’m going to be honest with you, I’m not sure you have what it takes to make it down here. Sloth? That’s it?”
She shrugged listlessly. “One time I ate three boxes of girl scout cookies in an afternoon.”
“Gluttony! Now we’re talking!”
The lap top computer lay just out of reach on the coffee table but she refused to move.
“Fifty words!?” She whined.
Wriggling a little further into the sofa cushions, she sighed heavily. She was not getting up for something like that.
“Writing about arboreal mammals just wears me out.”
This sloth walks into a bar and orders a beer.
“That’ll be five dollars, sir.” the barkeep says.
The sloth reluctantly paid his tab.
The bartender said, “You know, we don’t get many sloths in here.”
The sloth said, “At five bucks a beer, you won’t be seeing many more!”
Jack stood outside his front door, looking skyward at the barren trees. Leaves lay scattered about like the dead mocking his existence. Neighbors looked on with worried anticipation. Would he rake? A breeze hit Jack’s face. With a smile, he walked back into the house as the leaves migrated onward.
